happened in the Literary World in 1922, just 100 years ago? The
war was well over and folks were reading again. 1922 was known as "The
year that transformed English literature." Why? Read all about it! The year is 1922. “Ulysses” appears in February, “The Waste Land” in October. By then, everybody is reading C. K. Scott Moncrieff’s translation of Proust. The four writers bid farewell to 1921 in bad shape and greet 1923 in good. |

Silverview, by John Le Carre. His most recent book, to be available 10/12/21. Le Carré had been working on the book alongside his last two novels, A Legacy of Spies and Agent Running in the Field.
It was le Carré’s wish that his children look after his literary legacy
and they, along with an archivist, are currently cataloguing his
archive of unpublished work. Silverview is the only complete, full length, novel left unpublished at the time of his death.
