Instructions to Reviewers and Draft Chapters

The Team of Compilers for "Blackledges in America" very much appreciate our many contributors.  We are continually trying to improve the product and the database on which it is based.  We need fresh eyes as reviewers for the drafts of the large chapters of the book's ongoing Second Edition.  Existing drafts of the chapters for the 2nd Edition are linked below.  Please see these suggestions (as a PDF file) for Reviewers.

27 April 2010.  (Size:  3MB)   NOTE:  This draft contains the 'final' text for 2nd Edition, Chapter 4.  This posted version is purposefully rough, i.e., contains no parental information blocks and only four images (one will, one signature, and two reunion group photos).  However, this draft contains updates to the database received after careful review.  The draft does include sources and an Index.  The page numbering for Chapter 4 starts with page 39 and runs through page 391.  Sources:  pages 392-419.  Index:  pages 420-451.  Hint:  if you want to search for a specific page, e.g., page 412, use the Zero-Right Paren search - that is, search for 0)412
Chapter 5  William Blackledge and Descendants 22 May 2010. (Size:  6MB)  NOTE:  This draft contains ~ 96% of the 'final' text for 2nd Edition, Chapter 5.  This posted version contains no parental information blocks and no photos.  The draft does include sources and an Index.   The final version is expected to be posted in mid-July 2010.  The page numbering for Chapter 5 [this text draft] starts with page 179 and runs through page 1062.  Sources:  pages 1063-1145.  Index:  pages 1146-1229.
